Whistler is the award winning ski resort in British Columbia, Canada. It’s located just north of Vancouver. With an average snowfall of 11.9 meters a year, you’re almost guaranteed to have good snow conditions in Whistler.
The ski area consists of two mountains, Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain, both hosting close to 20 ski lifts and 100 runs. The mountains are connected by the record breaking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, linking the two summits. It’s the longest unsupported lift span on the planet at just over 3 kilometers (1.88 miles).
